IO-Link compitable industrial sensors and switches installed in the factory automation space can provide essential machine feedback. They can monitor On/Off status, confirm operation within an optimal range, or measure real time operation of pressure or flow.
ISE20B-L, Digital Pressure Sensor, 3 Screen IP65 with IO-Link
ISE20B-L is a digital pressure sensor supporting the IO-Link communication protocol. When paired with an IO-Link master, measured values, and settings can be accessed from the HMI screen of a PLC. ISE20B-L incorporates IO-Link 16-bit process data includes 2 output bits for set points, a diagnosis bit, and 13 bits for the measured pressure valve. The 3-screen, 3-color display shows the instantaneous reading in red or green, and the setting label and its numerical value in orange. ISE20B-L is UL/CSA, CE and RoHS compliant, with an IP65 enclosure rating.
ISE70/71, 3-Screen Display Digital Pressure Switch for Air
This next generation ISE70 pressure sensor provides continuous quantitative values, as well as switched digital outputs when pressure set points are met. This sensor is also IO-Link compatible. Sensor information, such as identity, functional state, cable connection, and current or switch values can be set or monitored remotely though an IO-Link master, and connected to a fieldbus network. The ISE70 is designed for abusive environments that may also include splashed coolant, lubricants or grime. Electronics are packaged in a metal housing, while the piping connection is a stout lug with female threads, which together protect the sensor against accidental collisions with other objects in the area. A smooth display face with membrane type buttons avoids contamination from grit and sticky residue that could clog or jam raised rubber buttons. The display is angled and can rotate 336 degrees, to permit easy reading when indirectly mounted. The main screen shows instantaneous values in red or green, while the sub screen setting appear in orange. Switch indicators will also light when set points are reached.
ZSE20B(F)-L, Pressure Sensor, IO-Link Compatible
The ZSE20B(F) series is a high-precisiion digital vacuum or compound pressure switch supporting the IO-Link communication protocol.. When paired with an IO-Link master, measured values and settings can be accessed from the HMI screen of the PLC. ZSE20B(F)-L incorporates IO-Link version 1.1 and COM2 speed. 16-bit process data includes 2 switch outputs, a diagnosis bit, and 13 bits for measured pressure value. Additional standard features include an IP65 protection rating, and 3 manual setting buttons. Settings and measured values are visible at the device on a 3-screen, 3-color display. The main screen shows the current measured value in red or green, while two sub-screens can display the setting label and its numeric value in orange. Delay time for the switch output can be as brief as 1.5 ms, while current consumption is held to 35 mA or less.

PF3W7-L, Digital Water Flow Sensor, IO-Link, 2-Screen 3-Color Display, IP65, 0.5-250 Lpm
Applications requiring a constantly monitored flow of cooling or cleaning water now have the perfect solution with the launch of the new PF3W Digital Flow Switch Series from the world leaders in pneumatics - SMC. Developed following the success of SMC’s PF2W flow switch range, their R&D engineers have now taken these flow switches to a new level by improving both their design and operating performance. Depending on the selected model, the new Series PF3W is now up to 40% smaller in volume than the previous range thereby offering improved piping space and flexibility. Designed to work with fluids up to 90ºC, these switches incorporate an in-built temperature sensor so that both flow and fluid temperature can be effectively monitored at the same time. According to SMC engineers, pressure losses have also been reduced when compared to the previous range and the new PF3W can also be used with ethylene glycol operating fluid making these switches ideal for use in chiller type applications. Further improvements include the addition of two screens incorporating three colour numerical displays which can also be rotated in both clockwise and anti-clockwise directions thereby offering even better display visibility during operation. ISA3-L, Digital Gap Sensor, 2 Screen 3 Color, IP67 with IO-Link
The ISA3-L is an IO-Link compatible version of SMC's ISA3 digital gap checker. A gap checker uses air pressure to verify the presence and proximity of a workpiece. Applications include confirmation of raw material placement before machining or other fabrication operations, or the correct seating of a component into a jig or fixture to trigger the next assembly sequence. ISA3-L includes features like 2 sensors detect supply and outlet pressure, to help determine whether and where this is a clog. NPN or PNP switch type is selectable electronically. The sub-screen has been divided into 2 screens, to display more information or finer resolution. The lower limit of the setting range can be extended down to zero. IO-Link communication expands functionality. Gap size, supply and outlet pressure are available as 16-bit integers. 6 bits and settings monitor 2 switch outputs. 2 additional bits are available for pressure and error diagnosis. Settings can be stored by the IO-Link master to copy automatically when replacing or deploying multiples. ISA3-L is CE and RoHS compliant, with an IP67 enclosure rating.
PSE200A, Multi-Channel Digital Pressure Sensor Monitor, 3 Screen 3 Color, 4 Input/5 Outputs, IP65, IO-Link
Series PSE digital pressure switches allow pressure to be controlled from a remote location. Series PSE540 is compact and lightweight, allowing the sensor to be mounted where needed. The use of stainless steel 316L for all wetted parts allows the PSE560 pressure sensor to be used in a wide variety of gas and fluid applications.
PF2M7, Digital Air Flow Sensor with I/O Link, 2-Color Display, IP40, 0.01-200 Lpm
PF2M7 is a digital flow sensor compatible with air, nitrogen, argon or carbon dioxide. PF2M7 refreshes the legacy PFM7 with several enhancements. The thermal sensor is protected in a bypass flow path to reduce contact with moisture and contaminants, avoiding accuracy deterioration and damage. Dimensions and weight have been reduced, especially beneficial when installed on moving tooling. Finally, current consumption has been reduced by 36%. The LCD 4-digit display can be red or green, changing when a set point is reached. Options include cable connector type, a manual flow adjustment valve, and panel or bracket mounts. Push to connect fittings or threaded ports align the fluid supply line in a straight configuration, or from the rear/bottom. Output options include two switch signals, one switch with an analog signal, or IO-Link. PF2M7 is IP40 rated, and meets RoHS and CE standards.
