Fluid Process - Industrial Filters
Industrial filters series offers a variety of elements that can be selected according to the filtration conditions and are suitable for high flow rate filtration
FGD
Suitable for low flow rate and low pressure filtration, the FGD industrial filter series can be used with a wide range of fluids. Two models, the FGDE and FGDF have antistatic specifications.
FGE
Suitable for medium flow rate and low pressure filtration, the FGE industrial filter series can be used with a wide range of fluids. The FGE is available in two styles, a V-band type and a bolt tightening type. Element replacement is easy with the FGES and FGEL V-band types.
FGG
Suitable for high flow rate and low pressure filtration, the FGG industrial filter series can be used with a wide range of fluids. Element replacement is easy with the FGG.
FGA
Suitable for high flow rate filtration, the FGA industrial filter series can be used for a wide range of applications. The series offers a variety of elements that can be selected according to the filtration conditions. Vertical structure of the FGA allows little loss of filtrate.
FGC
Suitable for high flow rate filtration, the FGC industrial filter series can be used for a wide range of applications. The series offers a variety of elements that can be selected according to the filtration conditions. Vertical structure of the FGC allows little loss of filtrate.
FGF
Suitable for large flow rate filtration with low pressure drop, the FGF industrial bag filter series can be used for a wide range of applications.
FGH
Series FGH is a high precision, industrial filter for liquids. Particle generation in the housing has been eliminated by using stainless steel 316 and PTFE for the wetted material and adopting a clamp ring system. Elements for the FGH are manufactured in a clean room (Class M 5.5) ensuring high cleanliness and high quality. The FGH is available with a HEPO II element (filtration efficiency 99% or more), or a membrane element (filtration efficiency 99.9% or more).
FN
A low maintenance filter, series FN1 eliminates the need for element replacement. SMC's unique element construction is composed of a series of grooved filter plates and wave washers placed one above the other. When compressed, the gaps between the filter plates and wave washers filter foreign matter. When decompressed, the element widens the gap between the filter plates and wave washers, allowing dust and foreign particles caught between the plates to be washed away. The gaps between the filter plates are equally maintained by the wave washers to allow stable back-flush operation.
FQ
Quick change filter series FQ1 requires no tools for replacement of the element. Element replacement, including removing liquid, can be accomplished in less than 2 minutes. Element sizes include 125mm, 250mm and 500mm. Materials include PP, cotton, SUS304 (epoxy resin) and SUS316 (nickel solder). Other elements are available as made-to-order.
